Aesthetic Treatments
Non-surgical procedures designed around your individual harmony.
About the treatment
Aesthetic treatments are non-surgical medical aesthetic procedures that aim at a more balanced and refreshed look while keeping the natural character of the face. Botulinum toxin, dermal fillers and skin-focused treatments can each be planned individually, based on facial anatomy, age, skin structure, expression movement and the person's own expectations.
At Oktay Tuney Clinic, the aim is not to change the character of a face but to reach results that are balanced and in keeping with its own features. Treatments for areas such as the jawline, lips, cheeks, under-eye, nose and nasolabial region can be considered on their own or as part of a plan put together for one person.
What Are Non-Surgical Aesthetic Treatments?
Non-surgical medical aesthetics can be grouped under three headings according to what they set out to do. Which one comes to the fore depends on the concern being addressed and the result being aimed for.
Botulinum Toxin Treatments
Procedures that aim to soften the appearance of expression lines by temporarily reducing the activity of specific muscles. Nasolabial, masseter and migraine applications are among the different uses.
Dermal Filler Treatments
Procedures that can be used to support volume, contour and proportion in particular areas of the face. Options for the lips, chin, cheeks, under-eye area and nose can all be considered.
Skin-Focused Treatments
Protocols that aim to support a fresher, smoother and healthier-looking skin. Treatments such as mesobotox fall under this heading.

The same treatment can serve different purposes in different areas. Below are the options that stand out by region; which one is appropriate is decided after an examination.
Chin and Jawline
Jawline and chin filler can be considered to help the facial profile and the contour of the lower face appear more balanced.

Lip filler can be planned not only to add volume but to define the lip border and create a look that sits well with the overall proportions of the face.
More detail: Lips →Under-Eye Area
In suitable candidates, under-eye filler may help soften the appearance of volume loss beneath the eyes and contribute to a more rested look.

Cheek filler can be used to support facial contour and address the appearance of volume loss.
More detail: Cheeks →Nose
Nose filler can be considered where the appearance of certain aesthetic irregularities may be improved without surgery.
More detail: Nose →What Is the Difference Between Botulinum Toxin and Fillers?
Botulinum toxin and fillers serve different purposes. Botulinum toxin is used principally to control the appearance of expression lines by temporarily reducing the activity of specific muscles. Fillers, by contrast, can be used to provide volume and contour support in particular areas of the face.
There is therefore no single answer to "botox or filler?". Which is appropriate has to be assessed according to facial anatomy, the concern being addressed, skin structure and the result being aimed for. In some cases both may be considered together as part of the same plan.
How it works
- 1
Consultation and Assessment
Aesthetic expectations, facial anatomy, skin structure and medical history are assessed together. This is also where the areas that stand out are identified and whether the expectation is a realistic one is discussed.
- 2
An Individual Treatment Plan
The area to be treated, the method to be used and the intended result are established. Where appropriate, combining more than one treatment within the same plan may be considered.
- 3
The Treatment
The agreed treatment is carried out in the clinic using suitable techniques and products. How long it takes varies with the treatment and the area.
- 4
Follow-up
Results are reviewed afterwards and a follow-up plan is drawn up where needed. Some treatments need a period of time before the result settles.
Recovery After Aesthetic Treatments
With non-surgical aesthetic treatments, recovery and the return to normal life vary with the type of treatment and the area treated. After some procedures a person can return to daily activities the same day, though temporary redness, tenderness or swelling may be seen after an injection.
How quickly results appear also differs between treatments: some are noticeable within a short time, others become clearer over a few weeks. This is why individual aftercare and follow-up guidance is best agreed before the treatment rather than after it.
Individual Planning for Natural-Looking Results
In medical aesthetics the result depends not only on the product or the technique but just as much on the planning that precedes it. Every face differs in its proportions, bone structure, expression movement and age-related change.
That is why a plan shaped around one person's facial structure and expectations matters more than a standard application. The aim is not to change the features of a face, but to support the areas that need it and reach a result that is balanced, natural and recognisably the person's own.
Frequently asked questions
Are aesthetic treatments safe?
Safety depends on factors such as appropriate patient selection, the use of suitable products and techniques, and the procedure being carried out by qualified healthcare professionals. Each treatment can carry its own risks, which are discussed separately at the consultation.
Can botulinum toxin and fillers be done at the same time?
In some cases different treatments can form part of the same plan. Any decision to combine them should follow an individual assessment.
Can I return to work after an aesthetic treatment?
It varies with the treatment, but after many non-surgical procedures normal life can be resumed within a short time. Because temporary redness or swelling may occur, it helps to plan around that.
How soon are results visible?
Some results are noticeable straight after the procedure, while other treatments need a few weeks before the result appears. The timing varies by treatment and by person.
Which aesthetic treatment is right for me?
Deciding that calls for facial anatomy, skin structure, the concern being addressed and aesthetic expectations to be assessed together. The appropriate option becomes clear after an examination.
